Newport News Nutrition Corner is a retail supplement store that carries over 150 different brands of supplements and offers vitamins, protein powders, pre-workouts, fat burners and functional foods. Located at 12551 Jefferson Avenue in the Jefferson Commons shopping center, the Newport News Nutrition Corner is one of 10 Nutrition Corners throughout Virginia and Maryland. Owned and operated by Doug and Stephanie Miller, Nutrition Corners were designed to be a place where customers come to receive professional advice on the core of supplementation, which is nutrition and exercise.
The Nutrition Corners recently started an online sales platform where customers can order directly from the store’s website. The Newport News location serves as the inventory hub for all online orders. The business prides itself on following its mission statement, which is “to the spread the knowledge of proper nutrition, training, and supplementation by building relationships and fostering community with unrivaled passion.”
Prior to opening The Nutrition Corners, Doug Miller was an economic litigation consultant for 12 years and began competing in drug-free bodybuilding competitions as a hobby. Stephanie was an athlete at the collegiate level and competed in bodybuilding as well. The couple excelled in the sport of bodybuilding, winning numerous titles and both becoming World Champions. Combining their love of health, fitness, and nutrition, the Miller’s decided to share this message by opening Nutrition Corners.
