CRYO 17 is the first dedicated cryotherapy spa on the Peninsula. The business opened its doors earlier this week on April 30 and is looking forward to introducing its services to the community. Cryo is located at 1047 J. Clyde Morris Blvd near the intersection of Old Oyster Point Rd. and J. Clyde Morris Blvd.
Cryotherapy is a procedure that uses cold temperatures to promote natural wellness. Customers step into a cryogenic chamber for 3 minutes and during this time, the body is exposed to subzero temperatures. The three minute treatment lowers a client’s skin surface temperature and starts to stimulate the body’s healing receptors. Cryotherapy is used to address health issues from joint pain to muscle soreness, weight loss to skin problems and overall wellness.
CRYO has 5 employees and they are all certified cryo technicians. The business will be celebrating its Grand Opening with a ribbon cutting on May 5th at 11:00am. The public is welcome to tour the facility and learn about what the business has to offer. For more information or to book an appointment, visit cryo17.com.
