Spectrum Paint

Spectrum Paint, a leading distributor of paint and protective coatings, is a family owned business that was originally started in 1986. Its Newport News store, located at 700 Thimble Shoals Boulevard, Suites 112 & 113, opened in January, 2017 and serves as a retail and commercial hub for its business. Along with a retail counter, there is a 15,000 square foot warehouse that provides products to its other locations in the region. Spectrum staff work to create positive customer experiences and they make themselves available to partner with customers to assist them during the paint buying process.

Spectrum has a large and varied customer base that includes both commercial and residential customers. In addition to homeowners, some of its customer base includes painting contractors, manufacturing facilities, government agencies, and local businesses. The company is one of the largest independent paint dealers in the nation and also distributes lacquers, stains, and specialty coatings from other manufacturers in order to offer is customers a broad range of products.
