Si Senor!

Si Senor, a Mexican restaurant located at 10608 Warwick Boulevard, opened its doors in the Hilton Village area of Newport News in February of this year. The family style restaurant is owned and operated by Jose Fuentes and his wife, Esperanza. Jose has over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. He started out working as a waiter and bartender and then eventually moved to managing restaurants in North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

In October of 2019, Jose had been contemplating taking the leap into business ownership and while out for a drive, he came across an available building. After making renovations to the interior, the owners were pleased to open and began serving customers. The business has 13 employees and its menu consist of classic Mexican dishes such as quesadillas, enchiladas, fajitas, burritos and nachos. In addition, it also offers steaks, seafood and vegetarian options.

Exceptional customer service and providing patrons with foods that offer authentic Mexican taste are foundational aspects of the business’ mission. In the future, the Fuentes’ family looks forward to expanding Si Senor to include continuing to grow their customer base and adding an outdoor deck for additional seating.
