The Newport News Economic Development Authority and the City of Newport News Department of Development are continuing their series of small business workshops. The next session titled “Free and Low-Cost Library Resources” will feature Anita Jennings, PMP, Assistant Director, Newport News Public Library. The event will include a tour of the library, which offers a 3d-printer, vinyl cutting machines and a sewing machine for use at the facility and mobile hot spots available for checkout. Attendees may also apply for a library card, and you do not have to be a resident of Newport News, only a resident of Virginia.
The event is free and open to the public. Advance registration is not required.
