Newsweek Names Newport News Schools Among Top in the Nation

For the third straight year, Newsweek Magazine has rated Warwick High School among the top 100 high schools in the nation. Warwick High School is home to the school system’s International Baccalaureate program—which is just one of several magnet programs operating from elementary to high school. Also, for the second straight year, Newsweek Magazine ranked Newport News’ other four high schools among the top 1,000 in the nation. Prior to that, the magazine had ranked four of the city’s high schools among the top 1,000.
