GC Commercial, Incorporated, located at 3 Pennington Avenue, is a Veteran-Owned Class A General Contractor that provides full-service construction services. GC specializes in general commercial and healthcare renovations, and is certified by the American Society for Healthcare Engineering. Some of the services offered are preconstruction including design-build or build-design, metal/wood framing, sheetrock installation, painting, windows & doors, flooring, rough/exterior carpentry, and LEED construction.

When GC Commercial first launched in 2011, owners Adam Creekmur and Eddie George had 35 years of combined contracting experience and two employees. The original location was on Blue Crab Road and in 2015 the business expanded, moving its operation to its current location which now has 35 employees.

GC Commercial has completed projects for a vast array of clients across Hampton Roads such as churches, hospitals, Busch Gardens, and military installations. The owners are involved in all day-to-day operations and are looking forward to continuing to perfect the construction process and expanding the company.

Outside of GC’s client relationships, the business has also shown a commitment to supporting organizations in the community. In the past, the firm has supported the Riverside Foundation, Boys & Girls Club, American Heart Association, and has participated in the One City Marathon.
