The 2009 Defense Authorization Bill to be signed by President Bush contains $195 million in military construction for Fort Eustis in Newport News. The money will fund, among other projects, a new Army Training Support Center, a new unit operations center and a new Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) headquarters. TRADOC, which is a four-star command, is scheduled to complete a move to Fort Eustis in 2011.
