Forbes Magazine Ranks Virginia No. 1 Business Climate for the Third Year in a Row

Forbes Magazine ranked Virginia first among business-friendly states in its annual survey for the third year in a row. The top ranking was based on a composite of factors in which Virginia ranked among the top ten states. Virginia ranked first in Regulatory Climate, sixth in economic climate, sixth in quality of life and seventh in labor supply. In addition to being cited as a great location for new or existing businesses, the magazine also credited Virginia for its incentive programs, low energy costs and educated labor force.
