Forbes Magazine ranks Virginia No. 1 Business Climate for the Second Year in a Row

Forbes Magazine ranked Virginia first among business-friendly states in its annual survey for the second year in a row. The top ranking was based on a composite of factors in which Virginia ranked among the top ten states. Virginia ranked first in Regulatory Climate, fifth in quality of the workforce, sixth in quality of life, eighth in prospects for growth.
