The upper Warwick Boulevard corridor continues to undergo an exciting transformation. Recently, the former Denbigh Village Shopping Center was purchased and rebranded as DW Center. Located at the intersection of Denbigh and Warwick boulevards, DW Center represents a substantial investment in the Denbigh community and the opportunity to bring a new mix of retail, restaurants and family-friendly entertainment to the northern part of Newport News.

DW Center’s new ownership has already made substantial renovations to the 341,000 square-foot facility including façade improvements, upgraded lighting, and security enhancements. These represent just a few of the improvements brought about by what will ultimately represent a $16M investment in renovations to the shopping and entertainment center.

These renovation efforts are already paying dividends as new tenants are rapidly filling once vacant spaces. At the time of purchase, Denbigh Village Shopping Center had approximately 50% of its storefronts sitting vacant.
