Custom Vinyl Products, headquartered in Oakland Industrial Park in northern Newport News, proudly supplies high-quality vinyl windows and doors throughout the greater Hampton Roads region. Every window and sliding door that Custom Vinyl sells is manufactured in Newport News.

The company opened for business fifteen years ago when Barry Taylor, Custom Vinyl’s President, partnered with a group of local investors and purchased the window manufacturing division of Opton, Incorporated. Beginning as a small startup window manufacturing company, the company found ways to grow and expand in an ever changing housing market. Custom Vinyl has a staff of over 40 full-time employees and the majority of people who work for the company – from the owners to the shop workers – live on the Peninsula.

Today, Custom Vinyl’s products are featured in residential and commercial buildings throughout Hampton Roads. The company is currently supplying windows as a partner to local builders, churches, condo associations, and apartment complexes. Custom Vinyl is also involved in the Hampton Roads community as a member of the Tidewater Builders Association and the Peninsula Housing and Builders Association. The company also supports Habitat for Humanity and Housing Partnerships in providing safe and affordable housing for people in need.
