Initially a home-based business, the Newport News native is proud to have her own storefront in her hometown at 5463 Warwick Blvd.
The goal of the enterprise is to help customers build memorable moments by ensuring their client’s vision becomes a reality. Makin Memories plans and styles for any occasion such as weddings, baby showers, proms, graduation parties, birthdays, conferences, book launches, family reunions, retirement parties, and receptions of all kinds. They offer a wide range of décor such as table settings, lights, candles, portable bars, draping, chairs/covers, centerpieces, and luxury props. Whether your style is bold, modern, fun, country, or industrial, any aesthetic is possible.
Makin Memories also specializes in balloon artwork, often referred to as balloon modeling, sculpture, bending, or twisting. Balloons are available for both event and grab and go services, allowing clients to custom order balloons and stop by the shop to pick up their order. Some of the balloon art consists of balloon bouquets, columns, stuffed balloons, toppers, centerpieces, arches, balloon garlands, and gift balloons.
