30,000-sq-ft Expansion Started
Innovated Machine & Tool Co., Inc., a sheet metal fabricator in Newport News, VA, is expanding its facility by 30,000 square feet, adding to its existing 60,000-square-foot space.
The expansion will support increased demand for data center power distribution enclosures, provide space for mechanical assembly and material storage, and create 25 new jobs.
The company is also investing in advanced equipment, including an Amada combination laser-punch machine with automated loading.
The project, financed by TowneBank and led by Spain Commercial, celebrated with a groundbreaking ceremony on March 21, 2025, and featured notable guests such as former Virginia Governor George Allen, Senator Danny Diggs, and Mayor Phillip Jones.
