HVAC Contractor with Veteran Status

Dran’s Heating & A/C is a full-service HVAC contractor that specializes in HVAC repair and installation. Located at 527 J. Clyde Morris Boulevard, Suite B, the business is locally owned and operated by Dran Alston.

Alston, a native of South Carolina, got his first experience with the HVAC industry as a teenager working in his uncle’s HVAC business and learning the foundational skills of the trade.

Alston then served in the U. S. Army where he obtained certifications in power generation and HVAC. After his service, he worked for several local employers, learning about both commercial and residential HVAC systems. In 2005, he started Dran’s Heating & Air Conditioning. Built one client at a time, by 2012, Alston began hiring additional staff to support the growing needs of the business.

Currently, Dran’s focuses on providing heating, air conditioning, and electrical services to residential customers and a broad base of commercial clients such as restaurants, hotels, office buildings, and shopping malls. Some of the services provided are emergency furnace and A/C repair, duct cleaning, and indoor air quality services. They also have installation services for new water heaters, A/C units, and furnaces.

In 2020, the business expanded by adding an electrical repair services division. The electrical division is capable of electrical panel upgrades, switch/outlet installation, generator services, and home charging stations.
