Greater Oyster Point is where entrepreneurial innovation and technology take pride of place among the various area businesses and organizations. UVA and Virginia Tech come together here as the UVA/Virginia Tech Center. Also in the area, health care for children will soon be available at expanding facilities of the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters. On a lighter note, Tradition Brewing Company opened as a favorite after-work-hours spot, and a full-service Holiday Inn is on its way.
