Handbuilding with Clay at 757 Makerspace
Celebrate Valentine’s season with a hands-on clay workshop focused on slab-built, conversation heart–inspired coasters. In this beginner-friendly class, participants will learn core handbuilding techniques including rolling slabs, cutting shapes, stamping text, refining edges, and finishing surfaces.
Using classic conversation heart designs with a local twist, you’ll create a set of heart-shaped coasters that are both playful and functional. No prior clay experience is required—this class is designed for makers of all skill levels.
All materials and tools are provided.
At the end of the session, participants will leave their work at the studio for drying, glazing, and final firing. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup within 5 days of the class.
