August 24, 2017The Economic Development Authority in collaboration with Cox Communications, the Newport News Hospitality Association, the Newport News Tourism Development Office and the Virginia Tourism Corporation’s Marketing Leverage Grant program, are proud to announce the premiere of the Untapped VA television program this evening at 8:00 p.m. on Cox Communications Channel 11.
Untapped VA is a program that showcases the vibrant craft beer culture rooted in new craft breweries, popular craft tap rooms, festivals, and local restaurants that support the local craft beer movement. The episode showing tonight focuses on Newport News’s first craft brewery, Tradition Brewing Company, as well as our own Ironclad Bourbon Distillery. The program premieres at 8:00 p.m. tonight and is running 30 times throughout Virginia and 15 times nationally. It is also airing permanently online on Cox Communications’ YurVIEW National television network. Don’t miss this new program showing that Great Things are Happening in Newport News!
