New eatery coming to City Center

Visitors and employees in downtown Newport News now have a new option when they need a good meal, JT’s Bar & Grill. Located downtown in Liberty Shoppes, the restaurant is owned and operated by friends, business partners and Newport News natives Teunsha Vick and John Eley.
Vick and Eley wanted to create a relaxing place where people of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy a delicious meal in the city they love. Their business motto, “Where friends and food come together,” highlights their desire to make JT’s a spot to connect and recharge amongst friends.
JT’s menu consists of American cuisine and features a Signature Burger, Shrimp Po’ Boy, Cajun Pasta, BBQ Ribs, Salmon, Mac & Cheese, and more. The restaurant offers signature drinks and theme nights throughout the week, including Taco Tuesdays, Karaoke Night on Wednesdays, Game Night on Thursdays and Sunday Brunch.
JT’s seats about 126 people and has a private room that can accommodate parties up to 25. They also offer take-out orders and provide catering services.
JT’s is open seven days a week and is located at 3301 Washington Avenue Suite 110.
