Dunn’s River Caribbean Restaurant is located at 5014 Jefferson Avenue and has been in business since 1998. Owned and operated by Anthony Brown, Dunn’s River specializes in Caribbean food including dishes such as oxtail, curry goat, curry shrimp, and jerk wings. They also offer several seafood items such as brown stewed fish, butter shrimp, fried shrimp, and steamed fish. To complement the entrees, the Dunn’s River menu has various sides including plantain, coco bread, cabbage, and Jamaican patties.
The restaurant carries unique and flavorful sauces and dry spices for sale. The sauces and spices are versatile and can be used for marinating, dipping, and as toppings. In addition to food and spices, Dunn’s also features a variety of Jamaican sodas and has weekly specials such as “Beef Stew” days.
