Couture Cakes by Nika is a family operated bakery, owned by Shanika and George Covington. Shanika is a self-taught baker and decorator whose business started from baking at home for family and friends with her husband’s help. George would help with baking the cakes, and Shanika would decorate them. The couple quickly ran out of space as the business flourished, leading them to open a storefront at 10373 Warwick Boulevard in Hilton Village.

Couture Cakes is now a popular spot for sweet treats, specializing in custom sculpted and 3D custom cakes for weddings, birthdays, and any other special occasion. They are also well known for their gourmet cupcakes that come in a wide variety of flavors and are sure to entice including Red Velvet, Dreamsickle, Chipotle Chili Chocolate, Strawberry Moscato, and many more.
