Chaffin Interiors Incorporate, a custom interior design firm located in Hidenwood Shopping Center, offers a variety of services, including consultations, furniture, windows, fabrics & wall coverings, upholstery, rugs, and accessories. They also support and work closely with local artisans to include photographers, fusion and stained glass artists, oil and watercolor painters, and others. In addition to its many services, Chaffin offers a “Basics in Interior Design” class each February. The class teaches about furniture arrangement, colors, and accessorizing.
The business was started in 1960 by the late Virginia and Millard Chaffin and operated as a home-based business that made draperies and window treatments and in 1963, Mr. Chaffin built their first retail location at 25th Street and Buxton Avenue. The business continued expanding throughout the years and in 1987, two of the Chaffins’ children, Sharon Tanner and Phil Chaffin, moved into the ownership role.
After being in business 58 years, Chaffin Interiors still focuses on reflecting the personality of their customers and providing a high level of quality products and services.
